The department of Waste Management is committed to provide our residents with quality garbage collection disposal services.
- The City of Gary will officially start collection of the new BLACK cans January 1st.
- The week of January 5th will be our first full route collected by the Gary Sanitary District. Please put out all cans the week of January 5, 2026.
